Ben Lueders was born on the steamy jungle island of Okinawa in 1987. He is the second born son of seven children, all of whom were raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord by their hard-working Air Force father and their loving homeschool mother. Ben spent most of his childhood living on the beach in Hawaii. It was tough.
Ben is a musician that considers Rich Mullins, Keith Green, and Andrew Peterson as some of his greatest musical inspirations. He plays piano, guitar, ukulele, harmonica and he tries to sing as well. On February 26th 2009 he released his first album "This Battle".
Ben is also an artist that works as the graphic designer for: The Hawaii Coral Reef Initiative, Biblical Blueprints Media and Clinch Mountain Communications. In addition to all this, Ben does freelance design and illustration work. Give him an E-mail sometime, and he'll give you a good deal.
On June 18th 2009, Ben asked the most beautiful girl in the world to marry him...and she said "of course!" So Ben's gonna marry Megan Knight on May 14th 2010. Both individuals are feeling over-whelmingly blessed, and extremely "in-love". They spend most of their time, these days, encouraging each other with scripture and remodeling an old house that they will someday live together in.
The purpose of this blog is for Ben to share his music and musings about community, culture, family, church, government, music...and how they all interact with each other. Ben hopes that you would join the conversation...
