I never thought it could be so tangible
Gold and wood, stealing your soul.
Dragons and incense burn in your mind
meaningless prayers begin to unwind.
Surrendering to darkness, shutting out the light
Embracing the master of everlasting night.

Tearing down strongholds never felt so real.
The temple is guarded by monsters of stone
whose eyes they glow like flesh and bone.
Lord, hear my prayer bring this place to the ground
Break down the walls so your love can abound.
Take away the scales that have formed on their eyes
Give them your truth and destroy all his lies.
