Some of my favorite Andrews...

Tonight I had the unique opportunity to have my picture taken with two of my favorite musicians. That first picture is me and Andrew Peterson. (And yes, I am both blinking and sticking my tongue out. And yes, I am seriously thinking of photoshopping that out later.)
This next picture is of me and Andrew Osenga:
And yes I am blinking in this one too. How dissapointing. Thankfully both of these Andrews are still really cool.
I met these guys at Andrew Peterson's BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD Christmas tour that opened tonight at Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn NE. (Which is, like, a block away from my apartment!) Andrew Peterson is a Nashville recording artist who follows in the footsteps of the great Rich Mullins. His music is a huge inspiration in my life.
Peterson is probably my favorite living musician. Andrew Osenga is probably my second. His free acoustic EP continues to inspire me everyday. Osenga has a great solo music career going, but is also a new member of the famous christian band "Caedmon's Call". Check out all these artists and just soak them all in.
The BEHOLD THE LAMB tour also featured Bebo Norman, Sara Groves, Andy Gullahorn, and Jill Phillips, all of which have successful music careers of their own. I was severely impressed with each of these musicians as well. (Unfortunately this means I will have to start buying their music...once I get the money) I bought Bebo Norman's greatest hits tonight, since I was not very familiar with him, and I have already been delighted. The last track on his album is Rich Mullins' famous "Sometimes by Step"...and it actually features Rich Mullins! In case you don't know, Rich Mullins died in a tragic car accident back in the 90's. Somehow Bebo gained Rich's vocal tracks and mixed it into his version! Brilliant. Buy some of Bebo's stuff.
The BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD tour is an amazing concert that tells the amazing "True Tall-Tale" of the birth of Christ. Peterson's patented story-telling style, shines powerfully in this remarkably moving performance.
