Elisebeth

Elisebeth liked me...

...but I did not like Elisebeth.

I would climb a tree.
So Elisebeth would climb after me...singing.
(Trying to sing a love song...or something like that.)

I would climb down the tree.

During the olympics
we watched a male gymnast do the "Iron Cross".
Elisebeth exclaimed: "I CAN DO THE IRON CROSS!!!"

I thought to myself: "I don't think Elisebeth can do the Iron Cross."

One time...when it was snowing outside,
Elisebeth came up to me.
She just wanted to play...
...I just wanted to go inside.

So I just ignored her and walked towards my house.

"BEN!!!" She cried,
"DO YOU NOT LIKE ME!!!???"
I stopped in my tracks.
I felt badly, but I did not want to lie.
So I turned around and yelled:

"Well...

...I don't HATE you!"

I didn't see Elisebeth very much after that.
